News: General Government Plan At least 600 new houses planned for the small town of Daya Vieja

The new General Plan of Daya Vieja, originally  drafted in 2006 can now  be considered when the document of the "Environmental Assessment" is completed and may give the green light, by the Government for residential building ,to approve the construction  of 600 new homes ,within this under populated village ,commencing at such time. The new urban site would consist of  bungalows, townhouses and detached houses with gardens. There are two companies whom have decided to invest up to 25 million euros in the project because, not only is the town one of tranquility, but it is also relatively close to the coast, which are two of the key features that customers are looking for.

If the "Environmental Assessment" document is finally approved by the Consell, expected within six to twelve months, this ambitious project can be a reality and its implementation will be a respite for many construction workers who are currently unemployed.
